History SIPlas Pty Ltd was founded in 1998.  Since this time we have been involved in virtually all aspects of design and manufacturing.  We have improved manufacturing processes, project managed multi-million dollar new product programs and have designed and developed processing equipment. For example, the first commercial application of Corona Jet technology in Australia, was in a machine designed and developed by us. We have used I-DEAS, NX and Solid Edge to design a wide range of products. Some designs have been for automotive, others for industrial or consumer applications. Our core premise is Design for Manufacture (DFM).  We determine the requirements of the customer and then work towards the most efficient and cost effective method for manufacture. As manufacturing has moved offshore we have been involved with sourcing contract manufacturers for companies.  SIPlas Pty Ltd are now agents for a range of Taiwanese toolmakers and manufacturers. We can offer quality products delivered to your door (or even your customers’ doors). If you have preferred suppliers, we are happy to project manage work for you.  In addition we are experienced in managing the issues that can occur when companies have decided to "go it alone" in the selection of overseas suppliers.  It is not enough to specify the correct materials at the design stage.  You also need to ensure that the manufacturer you commission actually uses specified materials for ongoing production! We have also provided expert advice for litigation.
