Carbon fibre filament winding
Some promising new technology is filament winding using polypropylene impregnated carbon fibre tape. This material can be applied by robot and fused by laser. The finished product is very strong, resistant to chemicals and can be recycled at end of life. Polypropylene is a most recyclable material. When combined with other additives/materials it has broad applications. SIPlas Pty Ltd believes that polypropylene will be a fundamental component of our future circular economy…Circular Economy
